		<description>Great post. It is important to discuss comparative effectiveness as healthcare reform continues to move forward. I believe it will be an integral part of the plan that is developed. I also believe that people shouldn&#039;t necessarily assume that a comparative effectiveness model will mean that cheaper drugs will always be chosen over more expensive options. Newer products such as Herceptin are being used throughout the world--in spite of their higher price tags--because they have demonstrated clear efficacy compared to older drugs.</description>
