RCW restructures, and Eurocom makes itself known

Major business moves are occurring within global pharmaceutical ad agency networks. A major restructuring of divisions at Regan Campbell Ward • McCann is expected to provide benefits to clients, while in other news the Eurocom Healthcare Communications Network seeks to extend its reach to U.S.-based clients.
Regan Campbell Ward • McCann’s reorganization places its various operating units under the umbrella of the newly formed RCW Group. The group now consists of four operating units: Regan Campbell Ward • McCann, the agency in New York; McCann Healthcare; MedRageous, the interactive agency; and Thinking Cap, a new strategic consulting arm headed by Strategic Partner Rich Campbell.
According to RCW Managing Partner Maureen Regan, by creating the RCW Group the agency will bring senior management closer to each account. In addition, the move is anticipated to increase the depth and breadth of resources available to each client.
The Eurocom Healthcare Communications Network was established in 2006 and has combined annual billings topping $75 million. Eurocom and its member agencies in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingom, and the United States handle some of the world’s largest healthcare brands, including Teva Neuroscience, AstraZeneca, and H. Lundbeck AS. Clients are encouraged to use Eurocom’s diverse resources as needed, giving marketers more freedom, flexibility, and control in the launch process. The network is launching an initiative to make itself more well-known to U.S.-based companies looking for global reach.
